I was looking at the Sierra OTMX web page and to my surprise I saw that they are going to have their International at E-Street on June 14-15 2008. That's WAY better than having it at Prairie City! I am so happy. It will be nice to be at E-Street for the Hangtown Hangover again. Just like back in the 80's www.sierraoldtimermx.com/2008_New_Files/2008_Entry_Form/2008_SOMTX_Race_Entry.htmThe entry form is not up yet. Just the info on the track and date.

I guess that's good news larry. I was hoping they would make a deal with mike and have it at Dixon. I have heard nothing but good things about Dixon from you since Mike took it over. E St. will be fine I'm sure, but nothing like when it was in the 80's. Those "good ole days" are gone forever I'm afraid.....................I believe it was 1985 (or 86) when I won the 40+ expert class there and that is the last time I remember running a OTMX national at that track. Of course, my memory isn't what it used to be.........could have been more after that. A race somewhere is always better than no race anywhere..............Russ

The last race my dad ever rode was the Sierra OTMX race at E-Street in '88'. He rode my brothers "88' CR250 and it spit him off so hard that after he healed up he decided to quit racing for ever. I hope that Scott builds a track that runs under the bridge for this years race.
P.S. I would rather race at Argyll also but anyplace is better than that box of rocks known as Prairie City!
