Hello again,
By now you've likely heard that we're having an mx775.com Ride Day this Sunday, April 20 from 9-2 at the Mustang Motorplex. But I realize that some of you may still be on the fence about coming. So with that in mind I present the top ten reasons to come ride with us at Mustang:
10. Prominent scientists discovered this week that recent soil samples from Moonrocks contain less moisture than samples from the moon itself. Consider that before you load up.
9. Mike Torres of www.tagnmx.com and Wayne Appleton will be there to shoot some fine photos and video footage, and I naturally will prepare a report for mx775.com. That means you may later see yourself in photos on the Internet...tasteful photos this time.
8. If you're not already at the World Mini Grand Prix, you've already missed your first moto. It was two laps long and some kid from Florida won it.
7. Mustang will also have its hillside TT track open to maximize riding time when your group isn't on the main track. Front fenders optional.
6. There will be special guest appearances by Roger DeCoster, Bob Hannah, Jeremy McGrath and Ricky Carmichael.* (*Note: Riders subject to change. In fact, don't expect those guys at all.)
5. There will be a free lunch at noon with hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks, all sponsored by Richie West of West Racing and prepared by Mustang's resident chef, Krista.
4. There will also be mustard.
3. The lunchtime raffle looks to be pretty epic. We will be giving away a Leatt Brace from Testa Racing, a set of Fox gear from Layne at Big Valley Honda, gift certificates from Dirty Dave's Cycle and a variety of other great prizes from Reno Motorsports, Nevada Motorcycle Specialties and all the others listed above. Thanks, everyone!
2. Hamburger lunches and epic raffles aside, it really is a great deal to be able to spend the day on the fine Mustang Motorplex layout for the mere sum of $20.
1. Free mx775.com stickers. Enough said.
So I hope this settles everything. See you at the track, and thanks for reading.
Robert
