Get ready for the last practice of the spring. I want to see all the OTMX members out there. If you dont have a bike, then come out and make fun of those that do. Maybe we can have a little imprompt to moto...$5 entry and winner takes all? Maybe a $5 entry and who ever get the holeshot gets the prize...Or maybe the last person to the first turn... I think we should have a +60 easter egg hunt also. The great thing about that is it won't take any extra people to put it on. We (+60 guys) can hide our own eggs bc we won't remember where we put them...................................Rooster

I can't remember, are we having a easter egg hunt on Sunday? BTW, if I come on sat. , I pay $ 20.00 and if I come on sun. I don't pay anything, right? How about Friday, what does that cost? PeeWee track open all day?? Is that from dawn to dusk? What will it cost me to ride that track? Are OTMX "free" on sunday or is it a "fee". WOW, :olook at all this activity. I should steal pics more often and misspell words more often. Gil found a pic on the net. I'll give ya royalties. I royally appreciate the pic. I would royally appreciate more picks. Its been a royal joy playing with you the last few years. I also royally want to ride with ya this weekend. Aren't royalties great!  I also think there should be a grown up egg hunt. Maybe we could do a poker game and hide cards in eggs around the track. Yeah slipped on the peewee track. I think they will get the idea its time to leave when we start prepping the track Saturday at afternoon. Yes also screwed up on the "fee". Guess I'm fired. Who is writing the next one? You have months to get ready.... Saturday is a pay to play day, so bring your 20 bucks or be willing to work for a comped ride.  I don't care what chapter the OTMX member is affiliated with, but we should probably limit it so guys that are members of 3 clubs cant play....kidding, kidding! calm down Jim you can still play. All the clubs are welcome to come play with us.   |

JB, I wasn't bashing you, just wanted you to know I was still around. Here it is ,, starting the 4th month of the year and I still haven't raced. Looks like I may be waiting to turn 70 so I can go run with Jimmy. Don't know if I could last a whole moto. So I guess we will all see each other this weekend. Hard to past up Fernley when it has moisture. Later........................Rooster

Jesse and I will be there this weekend but I am not riding yet. My ankle just won't heal! I am hopefull that I might be able to ride at the Sierra international but as of now I still can't even ride my bicycles.

no bashing taken Rooster. Even if you were I can handle it. I was more poking at Jim...The new flyer guy....maybe...  I want everybody to have some fun this weekend. The weather might be nice and its the week after April fools day. Maybe we can carry over some fun practical jokes... Once I put a black beenny hat under the liner of my dads helmet. He thought his head had gotten bigger because his helmet wouldn't fit. He rode all of practice and his first moto before he figured it out.  About 10 years ago a buddy of mine took the grips off my bike as an April fools joke... I was freaking out, until he brought over a new pair of grips and a crowd to laugh at me. I'll donate the holeshot award I won this weekend to the cause. Lets do a 1 lap moto, or some fun way to give it away. |

Well while yer pokin' fun at Jim get this; new rule!! Because of their attained longevity and vast experience all +70 members and all members turning 70 in the current year who are active in OTMX racing or club activities are exempt from all club fees including administrative fees and all Nevada OTMX event fees. This exemption will continue as long as the afore mentioned members remain active in the Nevada Old Timers Club, either by racing or club activities.
This rule sort of taken from the SoCal club.
So there! I'm ridin' on Sat. And I ain't payin'.

Good return poke! Kinda hard to argue with that one. :PAnybody tring to argue with somebody over 70 will end up spending more than 20 bucks worth of time on the subject, so It might be best to just conseed now and save the time.
But it might be fun to chase the poachers around the track with a paintball gun. ;D ;D Sorry April fools is still in the blood.

Hay were all gonna show on the, I think, 15th and race at 28 aren't we? It's the next round of the Dealer Challenge and there will be a moto that includes 60+ class. |
