Too bad you think Bobby and I are riding on days gone by. I wish that was the case! It was lots easier when I was 20. The Old Timers and Gang are not going away. They are not a bunch of self serving dinosaurs that you would like to believe. All of us, including you, work our tails off to keep our racers happy and keep the sport alive.
You lost your attempt to take over Fernley and you are acting like a child. The clubs will continue to race at Fernley and the riders will get the same great tracks they have had for eons.
How about this.....quit posting under phony names, put down your stir stick and go do your races.

Silver Peak MX is in NO WAY affiliated, resurrected from, tied to, or connected in any way to MX West. PERIOD!!! EVERYTHING about Silver Peak MX has been built from the ground up. The ONLY tie to MX West is that I spent three months helping them, thats it. Please, don't start talking about issues you have NO IDEA ABOUT! SMRA has far more ties to MX West then Silver Peak MX does or ever will. Well Steve, this is how I see it. Silver Peak has started off on the wrong foot with me. Your smart ass snipes at me, the lions club, etc. leads me to believe that you have the same attitude that mxwest had.You as the president of Silver Peak should show a little more tact than what you have shown the world over the last month. Your attitude is a direct reflection of the attitude of Silver Peak.Will I go to your races? Hell No. Will I being willing to work with you? Hell No again. You guys have lost the hostile take over of the Fernley track, now go cry somewhere else, shut up and go race.

Don't bash other people and I won't bash you. You are the person that came out swinging. I have NEVER started a fight but nor will I back down from one.
Fact #1: I NEVER said anything negative about the Lions Club.
Fact #2: I had NOTHING to do with Fernley and am glad the Lions Club kept it.
Fact #3: You called me a Ty lover, assumed I don't like Davis and that I hated Fernley. You assumed far to much.
Fact #4: I didn't ask you to work with us.

Steve I would like to thank you for all you said about the Lions club on the mx775 Klan meeting. There was alot of people (including city officials)watching that whole drama unfold.Your comments went a long way in helping the Lions club win that battle.

I never said you said anything bad, it was the attitude you and others had that the lions club could just raise money some way else. I was even thinking about sponsoring cheerleader car washes or something like that.

Now you are grouping me with everyone else's posts. Isn't that called stereotyping?
I have never used the words "cheerleaders" or "carwash" in a post until now. I never suggested the Lions Club do anything else to raise money.

The problem is that I am not Ty, not affiliated with Ty, and speak from years of racing involvement here in N. NV. I will agree with you on one point though, and that is that you DID work you tail off to keep the racers happy. However your magic of days gone by, is simply now replaced with petty grudges, inuendo's and speculation based upon conjecture from others. Like I said before................Bloom has long since pasted you by!!! |

This is a total load of crap! And in no way to handle this or any other issue. Poohbear, you surely aren’t helping matter is any way shape or form. If you going to do the talk and call somebody out, you need to cowboy up and sign your name. It’s like picking a fight with the neighbor and running back to your house and hiding. I may not agree with everything that happens or is said, but I have told some that lets just agree to disagree on that subject. But to blame Judy and Bobby isn’t right, nor is it right blame them on a public form and not sign your name….come on..think about it. As for Larry 63r, you don’t need to go to the meetings to be supporter of the club of your choice. Larry is a very active member and going to the meetings is only a small part of it all. It still remembers what its all about……racing and having fun. Larry, you comment that only Mxwest supports are cause any of the hate is an untrue comment and unfair. If you really get down to it Judy started Mxwest….And after years of listening to BS she stepped down and took some time off to recoup. You know better! Fedup….you’re wrong. Silver Peak isn’t Mxwest. Mxwest has officially closed its doors. Don’t start anymore rumors, get some facts first. It wasn’t Ty trying to get Fernley it was Steve Brown and Ty works for him. So, you’re not going to race and have fun because of a man doing his job? That’s silly. Plus there was other players involved trying to get the track, they just happened to not be so well known. Scott Davis was trying to obtain the track too. Motodad, Steve Brown want to try and save the track for other to ride and we its time is up was going to turn it. Just like what he said in the OTHG meeting, he is in a position in life to do something for motocross. If he could get the Fernley track and do something with it for a few more years to help in our area…..and after that use the land for some other business adventure, basically an investment of shorts. By the way at the last OTHG meeting there was no decision on how the club stood on all of this and would be discussed on January 2nd meeting. But that is all I know, I got that off my newsletter. But now it doesn’t matter… The Lions club has it one more year! Gil, I looked up and read everything that was posted on Mx775 about the Fern and I think you might be mistaking about Steve. I didn’t see anything negative towards you or any parties. Dude you really need to let your guard down not everybody is against you or clubs or friends. Steve is right you assume way too much. Relax not everything is bad. Think about some of the stuff you have sent me….. Judy, I'm disappointed in you, you know better Everybody has an opinion on whats been going on, but we all need to rethink about what we are going to post and remember there are feelings involved. Its not about us verse them, we are all on the same team. We just happen to have different ideas on how things should be, but think about redirecting our efforts to being on the same page. I was in the MXwest board for many, many moons and called it at the beginning of 2006.
