We are racing in your backyard this time. The only time you are going to see me is when you lap me! I am going to camp down with you guys this year. You guys had the best spot at the track last year. See ya at G.H.

I would love to go, last year was a blast! But if my knee somehow heals itself in three weeks, I'll be there. I've been talking with my son Dustin all year about going, and he was stoked about it. But for right now, it doesn't look good.

I would really like to go to Glenn Helen, never been there, want to ride it before I die. Looking for a ride, share expenses, share your girlfriend too if you want. Let me know if you are going Gil.

Still up in the air right now, Russ. But the knee is doing good today, so I asked the boss for the days off just in case.

We will be having marinated chopped chicken, tortillas, guacamole, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, beans, rice, enchlidas (cheese)--a veritable Mexican food buffet! Got this off the SoCal website. Sounds YUMMY!! I guess they liked our dinner.

Well the bike is ready and the gear is packed. I will be heading down to G.H. on thursday morning. I should be there by 2:00pm. I am going to camp down by the track near the sign-up building. I plan on helping the SoCal guys with sign-up on Friday. Hope to see you guys down there!

Have fun Larry, Don't let the hard pack and ruts get to you! It looks like I'm done for the year.

I had a good time down at Glen Helen. I rode all weekend without crashing and for me that's as good as a win. On saturday I had 26 riders in my class. On sunday it had dropped to 20. I went 20,17,20,11,15 for 17 over-all. It was the usual Glen Helen. There were lots of ruts and I can't ride ruts very well. They kept watering and the track never turned to concrete but the rutted corners were hard for me. They changed the track a little for sunday. They added two long straights. I really liked that. I got to use 5th gear! Gill, you would have had a blast. They had ripped the corners and one straight three feet deep and flooded them till they looked like wet concrete. The first practice was a mud bog!

Your right Larry I love mud!! Last year the infield was a blast, everybody was duck paddling thru it, and I hit the gas. I know I must have P.O.ed a couple of guys. Larry, I know how you might do better in the ruts. Sense you have that Marty Feldman thing going on, why don't you close one eye and go for it!! Just Kidding, love ya Man!
