I went down to Ridgecrest to race with the SoCal OTMX. I had a great time. If any of you have ever thought about going to one of these races you should. The track is a little jumpy. I walked the track and it took me two practices to remember what jumps I could do and not do. The track has many tables and a few doubles. One set of doubles that I would not do and two tables that I could not clear. That was OK because no one in my class did them either. I think the track is very OT friendly. The doubles that I would not do were far enough apart that I would not land on the up slope of the landing. They had two step-up jumps that were on long straights and had good take-offs and plunty of run-out after them. Best of all is that the track is sandy! I schooled those SoCal hard-pack boys on how to ride sand! I swept my motos 1-1-1-1-1=1st. It wasn't easy. They made me work for it. The sand there is a lot more course than ours. It didn't fluff up like Fernley does. Here are some photos for you to look at.

Great job, Larry. I hope those so-cal guys don't start crying about you bagging. That place sure looks like a lot of fun. Sure wish I could have gone. You could have got a picture of me lying on the ground!! I love the pumpkin thing.
