I received this message by e-mail today. BobbyTo the riders on the MarysvilleMx email list: I regret to inform you that the river is up again and has flooded most of the track. We will not be open for practice tonight, Thursday March 2, and will not be open Sunday unless the river goes down in time (I think it will be up for awhile). The river is not as high as it got last time, but Mike and I spent all night moving equipment and trailers out. We are tired puppies. You can see the river level on the web here: cdec.water.ca.gov/river/featherStages.html. look for water level at Yuba City. It is at 55.4 feet now, and it has to be down below 52 to be off the track. Then we will still have to do some pumping. Oroville is dumping 40,000 cubic feet a second. They were dumping 80,000 when we were flooded before. Several wild streams also add to the increase, and water backs up from the Yuba river, which is running high. We will be up and running again as soon as possible. Our next race is Saturday night March 18th. Gates open 1pm, practice 3pm, race around 5pm. We will have a mini only practice Wednesday night March 15th, 5pm-9pm. No big bikes or adults on small bikes. Its for the kids. Thank you, Mike and Charlie Sexton
