It's Called Practice
Here's another thing you might not buy. Masters and Experts need longer to get the track dialed in due to their speed and the fact they jump everything. It is flat out dangerous for them to not have enough practice and 10 minutes is simply not enough. When the gate drops they are going to go at Master/Expert speed whether they had enough practice, or not. It's called racing.
We've got better things to argue about than shortening their practice sessions.

For all of you folks too " OLD " to remember the rule is anytime you combine the Masters and Experts together they get 15 minutes of practice ! Why is this you ask ? Because so riders didn't get " CHEATED " out of practice time as they are to receive 10 minutes of practice for " EACH CLASS "! When you combine classes you STEAL 10 minutes of practice time from the Experts or Masters !!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is suppossed to be 40 minutes allowed for all Classes and when you combine you actually gain 5 minutes on your schedule .

Hi Bobby
I tried letting other classes practice before the Masters . Three 70 year olds told me no and nicely said they would just skip practice if that's the case (I listen to people with more experience). The Masters and Experts cut some real clean lines. Maybe it should just be a rule. It works pretty good
Thanks.

I really am not arguing to shorten Master and Expert practices. But, Novice and Amateur riders are on the same track. It is just as dangerous and they need just as much time to get "dialed in".
I think we should all be treated equally. All classes should practice the same amount of time.
It's called practice.

God Bless
I'm so sorry to hear about Rich. I met him through Tim Colvert when I used to race the Oldtimers. What a great guy. He was totally into the sport. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Dear friends of Rich,
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and how much you loved our husband/father. It is such a shock to us that we cannot find words to express how we feel at this time.
Right now we do have one request. We ask that you please keep quiet about Richard's death. We need time to heal and prefer to keep this private for a while. We ask that you respect our wishes.
Thank you,
Bonnie and family
Dear Bobby and Judy,
I am Kristen, Rich’s youngest daughter. I know you were longtime friends of my father and I want to thank you for your kind words in your email yesterday. I would like to ask a favor of you and hope you can assist me.
I don’t have many photos of dad. I know at races there are generally many photographers out taking photos. I actually found a few photos of him on the internet from the 2002 White Bros. Vet World Championships. I would like to get as many photos of dad as there are out there. Can you please send out an email (to the same group you already sent the email to on Monday regarding his death), and give them my email and phone number. If they have photos of dad, especially from the 70’s and 80’s, I will pay to make copies of them and pay for mailing them to me (or they can email them to me). It doesn’t matter if he’s out on the track, or sitting in the pits. Or, just to the side of the person that was really being photographed. I just want pictures of dad.
Also, if my ‘reply to all’ yesterday didn’t really reply to all yesterday can you be sure they also get the message about keeping dad’s death private for a while? This is very important for our family. It will be very public soon enough.
Feel free to call me if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Kristen K Eaton
