I didn't know this forum had a calender that we can put all the races on. I'll try to keep it up todate.
Once I get it done. Please let me know if I missed something.

Can you be more specific on what is required from a computer/log-in standpoint? I see it shows some birthdays, with no other info. Would you provide that to the moderator?

The person who is willing to keep the calender up todate would either login under my username and password, or I could see about getting them their own moderator password. I would probably prefer to have them login under my username and password, then I would be able to change the password quickly if somebody started posting things that were not acceptalbe.
I'd be glad to forward this person the schedule that the local promoters are working from so they know about all the races and events, not just the OTMX events.
Thanks- JB

I'll do it if no one else wants to. I like keeping up on all the events.

It's up to date based on what info our president has provided. You should see the spreadsheet that he and the other club presidents use to track all of the various races/practices/promotions that are occurring, or being planned, and any of the potential conflicts. Some race dates for some venues are not confirmed yet, so those are not entered. If you think something should be added, please run it through JB, who can forward it to me.

Looks great! I know that took some serious time and I really appreciate it. The calender is a helpful tool to have because we can see the other events that are going on around the area.
Thanks again!

Thanks. Something members can do on the Home Page is scroll down to the the section titled "Events This Month" and click on an event. A message box will appear. This box could be used to indicate someone is going to the event, or looking for others that might be going, or just looking for more info, or a link to the event.
What would you think of the idea of converting the "Newsletter" section of the forum (since most of the news seems to be handled within the "Bench Racing' section, to a "Members Forum"? Perhaps this section could highlight past, current, and newbies to the club, kind of an electronic ice-breaker. Maybe a past/current member's bio would run for about 3 months and newbies as they join. I was thinking of a patterned format that could be e-mailed to the member being highlighted (name, age, family, where live, how long a member, hobbies, bikes owned, riding/racing experience, best/worst race experience, favorite/least favorite track, best/worst bike(s) owned, goals, practice /race secrets, things have done for/things can offer the club, etc).
Just thinking out loud, hope no one minds.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT.
I've seen other forums that have introduction areas and was wondering how to make something like that work with this forum.
