The Nevada Old Timers are having a practice this weekend ( 2-18 and 2-19) at the Lions Club MX Track in Fernley. We are using all THREE...count 'em THREE tracks!
How cool not to have to wait for your next round. Just go to the other track and pound out some more laps! All tracks will be prepped and camping is free. Cost is $20.00 per rider and spectators are free.

All Nevada Old Timers Members will be able to ride for FREE on Sunday the 19Th!Join the club and you get free pizza and drinks every month, ability to ride any of the OTMX internationals, and you will be on the club contact list so you'll know when we have a free play day at the track. You will also be able to see how the races are put on and how the club is ran from the inside. Only requirements to joining the Nevada OTMX is that you are over the age of 30, and you pay annual dues of $25. If your a current member just show your card to the person taking practice entries. If your new just fill out a club membership app and bring it to the person taking entries. otmx.com/

Do I remember right that the layout for the East (old) track will retain the same layout as last weekend and the West (new) track will be getting a face lift for this weekend? If you like "real" practice then the fernley sand, (and it's ability to create natural sand whoops) is the place to be. You can get race day conditions this weekend at the fern........................Rooster

Yes the east track is staying the same. We have some changes planned of the west track, but not sure how many of them will get done by Saturday. It will have to be a suprise.

Saturday was AWESOME! I saw a few of the peewee kids ride until they ran out of gas. Then fill up and go again.
Today should be great also. It might be a bit chilly, so bring a riding jacket and some warm gloves.
Remember NV OTMX members ride free today.

This weekend was a ton of fun at the Fern. I had the most fun ripping around on Sunday with all the OTMX members.
We should start thinking about when we want to do another play day in March.
