Thought I would check in with the msg board and see if anyone really reads these posts. Missing all you guys in Nevada. Also missing the neat sand at Fernley. They don't have the same kind of terra firma here in Az that is in Nevada. Have to learn a whole new way to ride. Have ridden on 3 differant tracks since arrivial and all 3 have differant textures. Going to another track (number 4) this week and see what it has in store. Actually, (because it's all new) I have ridden more here than I got to in Nevada. Oh, I did join the AZOTMX> Seem to be some nice people, went to one meeting and one playday so far. Talk more later. Rooster

Russ, You broke my heart when you moved. Every time I had a chance to ride with you, you taught me something and I am going to miss that a great deal. We have had a fairly good time this year so far, Bob Judy and I got together a few weeks ago in Hawthorne and had a absolute blast! I missed Winnamucca last weekend because I was out of town for two weeks and Bob and Judy are on vacation in Mexico right now, don't know exactly when they will be back. I am looking forward to Honey lake that is coming up soon. Don't worry, I'll side up on the tank, stick the leg out and lean! Good hearing from you, I'm glad things are going well for you, (until it hits 117 degrees in the morning!!) Take care Gil

All the tracks here have lights and night pratice/races. we also have day time stuff too but as it gets warmer all the tracks switch to night time activity. You can practice tues thru sunday here at about 14 tracks within 45 minutes. One is only 10 miles from the house. They build really neat and safe jumps here. I have already jumped stuff I never thought I would. I'll get good and then come show you. (braggin). Riding every weekend and one day during the week. Great weather now (avg 76-78 degress). Dont hardly sweat either. No goggle sweat. Pretty neat. Please have everyone commit to AZ oldtimers race next yr so I can see everyone. Late now, must sleep. Later, Rooster ;D
