I know we all like to do our own thing on race day, but what do you guys think of parking somewhat together and having a OTMX racing team at the local races? Don't we have an OTMX banner some where we could put up across an easy up? It might be nice for the new guys in the club to be able to find us. (and the old guys to be able to remember where they parked) If we don't have a banner do we have any connections to get one made for cheap?

Just got off the phone with Big "G" and he had some thoughts on this but then said he was going to take a nap. So we'll just have to wait for some intelligent thought on this matter. 542 says this; We need a banner, we need ball caps available ($$) to the members with our logo on them, we need "T's" for the troops. We need something that shows our colors! Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Sierra, CVOT, SoCal, B.C, & Alberta all have jerseys that each member buys from their club. Now that all costs money. So what if we start small and save our pennies or spend some money and order a banner so we can have some camaraderie at events. After that some careful thinking might come up with some way of offering some other identifying stuff members can buy. Or we could ask Big "G" sometime when he's not meditating or telling jokes with the Dali Lama or on the phone with the Nobel Peace Prize committee.

I have been asking for longsleeve T shirts with our big A/J logo on the FRONT for years. I haven't seen anyone interested in one but me. I still think a nice blue shirt with a yellow logo like the bib would be great! That could be used as a jersey and you could have your name and number put on the back or just as a shirt.

The banner is in the container. Can be put up with two stakes. I think it is about 4x4. It is white with blue logo if I remember right.

Jerseys/ long sleeve shirts are in the works. We have some companies that are showing interest in sponsorship. We just need to put on events so we can get their names out there.
I seem to remember seeing pictures with the banner in it. I'll go pick it up this week so its in town if anybody wants to set it up at MMX or Stead.

Tried to get in touch with Big "G" but apparently he's having an out of body experience.
Good luck Gilly!

I have a tie dyed NV OTMX jersey. I dont remember the year, but do you guys have some older OTMX jerseys we could all wear this weekend? I dont think my Dad will be able to make it this weekend, so I can raid his jersey stash and probably come up with just about all the jerseys from the last 17 years.
Do we have rides and car pooling planned out yet? If so do you guys mind sharing the plans publicly? I think there are a few of the new guys that would like to go if they had a ride.

The NV Team did well!! All went home sore with smiles on. We had 9 members there and a hole bunch of good stories.
I hope to see you guys at the meeting.
PS. The 542 motel was very nice with all the accommodations and service you could ever want. There was a nice wake up call, fresh coffee, breakfast in bed and a room with a view of the track. Thank you very much JP.

I suck at taking pics, but I did get a few. Maybe next time I'll get some of the fun we had in the pits. It wasn't until after the first round of moto's that I even remembered I had a camera. Take note of the flags and wind... The NV boys felt right at home, just like being at fernley at 4 in the afternoon. 60 expert class had some good battles. Check out Russ H almost pulling a holeshot! Greg had a cool wheelie going through the whoops, I just kept taking the pic to soon Good holeshot in the making, DONT LET OFF JIM!! Jim had a great battle all weekend for the lead. There was a lot of passing going on.
