Apparently, factory Suzuki has signed James Stewart to ride for them this summer. Not surprising since the only decent rider Suzuki has is Metcalf. Stewart might win a couple races. But I doubt he can win the championship. He can not keep the rubber side down!
I know I'm going out on a limb here. But I predict KTM wins their first AMA championship this summer. Suzuki sucks since Decoster left. Hey, those Nazi's are pretty smart. First they get Decoster, than Dungey.
Any comments? Anybody?

Össtereich (Austria) was not NSDAP, they were annexed by the Germans.

I still don't believe Stewart will show up at hangtown. I've heard this song and dance before.
I really hope JS7 shows up in full force. The pics of him riding that zuk look really good. He looks modivated and was riding it really aggressivly. On his test track he was claiming to be 2-3 seconds a lap faster on the zuk than on the yamaha. 1 second a lap is a big difference! These guys are doing 20 laps, and if he was a top 3 rider on the yamaha and is now going 2 seconds a lap faster..... That comes out so something like a 30 second lead over the top 3 by the end of an outdoor moto.

Hey, the Nazi thing was just a joke. Austrians get really pissed off when you say that stuff.
With Canard, Reed and Villapoto out. I think Stewart saw it as a great opportunity to win another title. I mean, he hasn't raced the outdoors for how many years now? I heard he even took a cut in pay to race the Zuk. I say he's trying to take advantage of the situation.
Can he beat Short? Definitly. Can he beat Dungey? Maybe, if he keeps it up right.

Can he beat Dungey? Not!! He might be able to win some motos and maybe even a race or two but he can't keep it together long enough to win a title. His only hope is to take Dungey out in a corner, landing on him or pulling out in front of him in the whoop section as he is getting lapped.

Well maybe Barcia can give Dungey a run in the outdoors, since he's moved up now, last year he gave 'em both a pretty good run as a fill in rider.

::)Barica has not moved up. He is slated to run 250 outdoor and will not be a official 450 rider for Honda until supercross 2013. Doesn't mean they can't use him there during 2012 outdoors, (and maybe they should), but he is not a 450 rider yet.
Stewart has yet to prove himself but he looks good in those photo's being spread around the internet..................Rooster
Just might have to buy another Zook!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've only got 1 thing to say after seeing the first round of the 2012 outdoor MX season. Blake Bagget? HE GOOD!

I love watching the outdoor nationals! Those guys are going so fast. Some of those ruts looked almost unrideable and they were just ripping through there.

Well, after 5 rounds of AMA outdoor national races, my predictions seem to becoming true. James Stewart won a couple of races but could not keep the rubber side down. KTM is closer than ever to winning their first ever AMA outdoor 450 national championship. And lastly, Blake Baggett (who has the points lead in the lites division) HE GOOD!!!!

RD5 looks like his usual methodical get it done style, if he can't win he'll take a podium finish. I look for JS7 to come back and ride fast, unless the wrist injury is serious (it's amazing how many fast guys seem to put out of action by an injured wrist). I'm stoked for Broc Tickle. Have always liked his style and determination. He's been showing signs one moto at a time and finally put two back to back. I hope he comes back strong after the break. Not a huge fan of either Millsaps or Weimer, but think they could sneak a moto win out on the right track.
As for the 250's, it seems totally up in the air, hope it stays that way.
