Well the International is over and I would like to thank all of you local riders who came out and rode with us. I had several people comment about how good of a turn out we had in our support classes, and they mentioned that all the young guys were respectful and fun to be around. I really need to thank all of our helpers. The track crew did an amazing job. (Its no easy task to prep two sand tracks in the heat of the summer) The sign up crew met issues with smiles and kept spirits high . The finish/Starting guys kept things moving well both days. The caution flaggers did there jobs great and did well to report when passing was happening during a yellow flag situation. Our International scorekeeper even commented that our lap checkers did a great job. THANK YOU ALL SOO MUCH. Here is a little write up that Eric Mckenna posted. mx43.com/ Click on #33 blog. Hope you write this race on your callender for next year!

A quick list of thoughts before I move on with my crazy schedule. Stan has been simply amazing. Always willing to help and the first one to call me to help organize and coordinate people/Equipment. Stan was on the loader when the sun came up and was on it well after the sun went down Friday and Saturday. His assistance with injured riders and how to handle tough situations helped me more than anybody will ever know. Kimmy even came out and helped clean up trash and banners. We all cant thank Stan enough for all he does. (But we need to try) THANK YOU STAN Rick did a great job running the dozer and some how got a track that hadn't seen equipment in months to be an absolute joy to ride. He also handled all the money for the weekend. Most don't realize how difficult this can be when you have pros wanting paybacks and people wanting paid different amounts. He and his son ran the starting gate most of the weekend and everything went smooth with all the water breaks and split gates. Ricks wife Chris made up food for us workers and did a great job going around collecting gate fees from all the campers. Chris also supplied most of the printed materials at no charge. The whole Lloyd family did an amazing job and I thank you. Gilbert, Was all over it. He was there a day early. Rounded up local helpers and got the pits and fencing looking great. He was the glue that kept me on track as well as all those little things that you forget need to be done. From setting up the start gate to running extention cords he had it handled. Now I have no idea how to train a chicken, but he even managed that. Gilbert took charge of the crap shoot and then some how managed to win! He did a great job with the flaggers and when we needed more he made calls and more arrived. It was great to see every flagger cheering for him when he was racing. Unfortunately he got a different kind of ride on Sunday. He had a nasty get off in practice and the only ambulance call of the weekend was for Gilbert. Best wishes bud. Thank you for all your help. The whole Trainer Family was great. I cant even list all they did, but between Teri in the bus, helping with the program, copies, drinks, food, and a general fun attitude, Harry doing holeshot awards, Timmy filling water trucks, Nick running errands, Tyler filling in for me when I was called away, Amy helping in the bus and getting my truck home for me. To say they did a lot is an under statement. Thank you all. (Timmy for pres in 2028!) Kyle was the man in the water truck and motivated me to get my bike going and get out on the track. The fact that he talked me into riding made my weekend. We are a part of this club to ride our bikes, not work our butts off. Kyle had a nasty crash on Saturday and wasn't able to ride Sunday. His bruised buttock didn't have anything to do with the crash, its from that nasty seat in the RMS truck...That should tell you how much water truck seat time he logged this weekend. All the riders appreciated the water and so did all the people I roosted on your behalf. Thanks bud. Larry was all over the finish flagging and lap checkers. He and Jesse kept the laps and times in check. We had no issues or complaints about moto length and the results were accurate due their leadership with the lap checkers. Jessie may be another water truck driver in the future. I saw him filling a few loads, welcome to the WT Fraternity Amanda did great in the bus and I love how she handled issues with a smile. I would see people come up with an issue and leave with a smile. Greg did a great job announcing and keeping up with all the schedule changes and with out him I'm sure we wouldn't have gotten done nearly as quickly. He also posted a bunch of pictures on Facebook as well as took some helicopter shots. Butch was doing great watering the east track while we were racing on the west track. Almost had to pull him out of the truck just to eat. Both Scott Chicks did a lot of work and filled in doing everything including staying late to clean up. Eric did great educating the flaggers and keeping them focused, his whole group chipped in and helped clean up. LB, Russ and Russ were cleaning up trash, fencing and anything else that needed to be done after the race was over. I would also like to thank the guys who worked on the equipment in years past. If not for their maintenance we may not have had equipment to use this year. Thanks Bobby, Gilly, Stan, and Russ! If I missed you on this message don't think I didn't notice your help. There were lots more people that did lots of jobs leading up to this event and during it. THANK YOU ALL SOOO MUCH!! See you guys on the 11Th at the Meeting.
