The club has selected July 22nd as our Free Play day. The club will provide the water and maybe drag the track. No promises on the drag though.
We will plan on being out at the Fern early in the morning and will do a quick prep on the West track. This is a members only event, so be sure to tell all the members that you know to come on out. Bring your prospective members, its about time every gets signed up.
It might be fun to do a pot luck BBQ of some sort, so post up some ideas and lets do this thing!

Well the water truck guy might have a bit of a problem.... Seems that somebody else wanted the batteries from the water trucks. Also looks like they would rather cut the cables than take them off. So I'm not sure what time the water trucks will be up and running. I'll keep ya posted though as the repairs get done.

Still working on getting some batteries and cables.... With any luck I'll hear back on if the rental truck is available. Once I hear back I'll put out a email blast letting everybody know for sure what time we will start.

Sounds like the play day is ON. We're still working on the watertrucks, but we have a rental lined up if we cant get them back together in time.
Right now we plan to put the oil pan and new battery cables on the little Red truck Saturday so its ready to start watering at 4:30 Sunday morning. Once that truck is watering we will work on changing the battery tray on the RMS truck so the new batteries and cables will fit correctly. If the plan works out right we will have both trucks up and running by 7am.
So the schedule will go some thing like this
Water truck crew show up from 4-5am, Start watering Water truck #2 gets worked on and starts watering around 7am Dirtbikes being ridden and old people smiling around 8am Water trucks will be put away by 10 am so get there early Pot luck Brunch/Lunch
I plan on being gone by 11:30am, but you guys can hang out as long as you can take the heat.
This is a Old Times only ride day, so if I don't know who you are you better have a membership card, or a member sponsor with you.

I think the ride day went well. We were a bit late getting the water trucks up and running, but everybody was still able to start riding by 8am. We had 15 people out riding and all seemed to have fun. By 11am it was hot and about time to go home. Seems like everybody was gone by noon.
I look forward to doing it again. With any luck I will be able to ride next time.
Later- JB

I had a great time. Jesse had fun untill he looped his bike in the whoops! He was fine but the bike took a beating! The track was in pretty good shape considering it wasn't prepped at all. It was nice and rough like a good MX track should be. Can't wait to do it again. Thank you JB.
