Does anyone Know how Bruce is doing? He had a bad crash at the gang national and had to take a helicopter ride.

I received this message from Marvin Small.
Hey RUTSters,
Please keep our good frend Bruce Barsumian (NMS) in prayer. He had a nasty crash at Fernley yesterday, was flown to Washoe where he is in ICU. He sufferred a concussion, 10 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. For a lot of us, he is practically family. so please help in anyway you feel led.

Bruce is a good egg and it was a real bummer to see him get hurt! Our thoughts and prayers are with Bruce! I know from experience it sucks to be in the hospital with a chest tube from a punchered lung.....  |

Larry , Layne , Bob , and anyone else wondering , Tony went to see Bruce today . He is doing better he is awake and talking . Hopefully he will be out of ICU tomorrow . I'm going to go visit him tomorrow , I will keep you guys posted.

I do not know him, and did not hear what had happened, but I was concerned to see a person taken directly to the helicopter. I wish him a speedy recovery. It is good to hear that he is getting there.

To all, saw bruce today, he is doing well, his great sense of humor is back, it sure was great to see him smile! even with all those broken ribs, if all goes well should be out of icu by the weekend, Tony

to all, bruce is out of icu, chest tube out and off the O2, doing very well, maybe out of the hospital soon, really great to see him improving, Tony

Here is an update on Bruce. He is at home, resting, not sure how long he’ll be away from work. He is somewhat mobile again and on the mend.
