I will be there camping friday and saturday. I like to pitch my tent at the top of the hill by the REM track.

Bob and I are thinking about it. I hope so, I have a score to settle with a Sierra member that beat me by one point. We had a blast riding two strokes in the back of the pack! We had our own thing going and it was one of the best times I ever had.

I suck at Glen Helen so I will be in the back of the pack with you.
The last time I raced there was a Gang national and I got lapped!

Ruts are really hard for me. I don't have depth perception. I go very slow in the ruts.
I can go fast in the sand because I don't have to be very precise on where I put my bike.
I just pitch it into the corner and hold the throttle wide open.
That and I had our track memorized. I don't have that advantage at Glen Helen.

Larry, talked with Bobby tonight, we will be leaving Fallon Friday morning, Hope to see you Friday afternoon. We'll be staying at motel 6, unless you have room in your tent.

I have been told by several people that the Days Inn is much better than the Motel 6.
I haven't been to either but here is their # if you want to call them.They are both close to the track.

Thanks Larry, just checked the rates, their almost double than motel sux. I'd kill a couple of roach's to save a $100. Which way are you going down? Maybe caravan down together?

I am going down on thursday.
I take I-5 to 46. I cut over on 46 to 99. Then I take 99 to 58. I take 58 over the Tehachapi pass to 395. Then 395 to 15.
It takes me about 7 hours to get to Glen Helen from my house.
P.S. You can buy a lot of Raid for $100.00
You should leave the bikes with me at the track. I would not leave them in the parking lot at ANY hotel. I have plenty of cables and locks.

Larry, What time did you make it home? Did Shawn make it back alive? Dropped Bobbie off in Fallon about 12:15 I was in bed before 1:30. Made it home without any speeding tickets!!
