Shawn drove for about an hour. After the tenth time I told him to keep it under 75 he threw a fit and tryed to pull over on the side of the road. I told him that if he stopped my truck on the side of the road I would leave him there! I made him get off at an off-ramp. I drove from California City to my house.
He tryed to sleep the whole way home. I stayed in the slow lane and hit every pot hole on 99 between Bakersfield and Sacramento. Just so I could bounce his head off the window!
Just before a road construction area, as traffic was slowing I slammed on the brakes and screamed. He just about wet himself when he woke up and saw all the break lights.
I got home about 11:30 and sent Shawn on his way as soon as I could get him out of my truck.
I don't think he will be coming with me to any more races for a while. Next time I tell him to bring his own food and money I bet he listens.
